Cleanroom coveralls

The coverall is the core garment of cleanroom clothing: it contains the particles and skin flakes a person constantly sheds and forms a liquid barrier where there is a splash risk. At ProSafe cleanroom you will find coveralls with an integrated hood for one-piece gowning and mandarin-collar coveralls that are combined with a separate hood.

The versions differ in material (microporous PP/PE laminate at 60 g/m² or tri-laminate at 52 g/m²), delivery condition (sterile or non-sterile, both aseptically folded) and details such as thumb loops, back elastic, adhesive zip cover or an integrated mask. The ProSafe 2 coverall and the CleanMax coveralls are available now from the B2B shop; the new sterile line is in preparation.

Selection guide

Hood or mandarin collar
An integrated hood lets you gown in one step; the mandarin collar suits operations that change or sterilise hood and coverall separately.
Sterile or non-sterile
GMP Grades A and B usually require sterile, validated irradiated garments; for ISO 5 to 8 and GMP C/D the non-sterile, aseptically folded version is usually sufficient.
Material
The 60 g/m² laminate is the standard for particle retention and limited splash protection; the tri-laminate offers a higher liquid barrier and breathability.

Frequently asked questions

What does aseptically folded mean?

The coverall is folded so that it is gripped from the inside during donning and the outside is touched as little as possible. This reduces contamination while gowning in the airlock.

Does the coverall replace grounding in ESD areas?

No. The surface resistivity of the laminate limits charging; grounding of the person runs through overboots with conductive ribbon or heel grounders and a dissipative floor.

Which coveralls are available now?

The ProSafe 2 coverall and the CleanMax coveralls (sterile and non-sterile) are in the B2B shop. The new sterile line is in preparation; request target specifications and pre-series samples via the form.
